Bipolar Resection Function Overview

Foot Pedal

The LigaSure/Bipolar foot-pedal receptacle is located on the rear panel of the energy
platform.

LigaSure/Bipolar foot-pedal receptacle

When Bipolar Resection is in use, a single dual-pedal Bipolar Resection Footswitch can be
attached to the LigaSure/Bipolar foot-pedal receptacle using a 1060355 adapter. The foot
pedal is used to activate a Bipolar Resection instrument attached to the LigaSure/Bipolar
receptacle on the front panel.

1060355 adapter

The purple end of the adapter connects to the energy platform. The orange end of the
adapter connects to the foot pedal
