PM100N Home Use Guide
Turn On the Monitoring System
Press and hold the Power button for about 1 second.
The Power button, Home button, and Silence Alarm
button light up to indicate the monitoring system is
on.
Listen for a series of three rising tones followed a few
seconds later by a higher tone. This is a test for the
alarm sound.
The monitoring system’s main screen appears
indicating the system is ready for use.
If you do not hear tones or see a screen that looks
like the example (numbers may be different), make
sure the sensor is attached to the patient and to the
monitoring system.
Look at the screen to see if it is showing oxygen
saturation (%SpO
2
) and pulse rate (PR) values in the
range defined by your clinician as appropriate for the
patient (no alarms should be happening).
If you are unsure of the appropriate oxygen saturation
and pulse rate values, contact your clinician.
