GROUND DRIVE 

NEUTRAL IS WHEN THE JOYSTICK (CONTROL 
LEVER) IS IN THE 

“DOWN”

 POSITION. 

 

 

1.

 

The mower blades must be disengaged 
and the Control Lever(s) must be in the 
neutral position before the engine will 
start. 

 

2.

 

The engine will stop if the mower blade 
clutch is engaged when the operator 
leaves the driver’s seat. 

 

3.

 

The engine will stop if the Control 
Lever(s) are not in the neutral position 
when the operator leaves the driver’s 
seat. 

 

4.

 

The engine will stop if the brake is 

“SET”

 and the Control Lever(s) are not 

in the neutral position. 

 

5.

 

The engine will stop if the brake is 

“SET”

 and the mower blade clutch is 

engaged. 

 

DO NOT OPERATE MOWER IF SAFETY
