- Remove the protective cover. 

  

- Press the ignition fully until you hear a slight ticking sound (this is the piezo ignition). If you                

  

hear nothing when pressing the ignition button, then you probably need to replace the battery. Hold   

  

the control knob pushed in when you open the gas supply. Turn the control knob to the right for gas  

  

supply.  The burner should now ignite within 15 seconds . If the burner gives a completely flame, you  

  

hold the control knob for 15 seconds withheld . The flame continues to burn. Extinguishes the flame,  

  

try this again and hold the button longer retained . 

 

Switching off the Cosiglobe

 

  

- Turn the control knob so that the flame goes out. If the flame is out you turn off the gas valve on the  
gas bottle. You can use the round opening in the Cosiglobe. Put your hand trough it to turn off the gas.  
- Let the lava rocks and ceramic logs cool down completely and place the cover on the Cosiglobe.

tested for propane gas cylinders. Therefore, always use one of the required gas cylinders. Using another bottle 
can give another fire behavior, or in the worst cases major damage to persons, animals or materials. If you are 
unsure about a particular cylinder which one to use? Please always contact the helpdesk of Cosi or an
