Note:  This  appliance  comes  with  a  safety  switch  which  will 
automatically  turn  off  the  power  when  the  appliance  is  inadvertently 
switched on when it is empty or dry boil. In this case, let the appliance 
to cool down completely, before filling the water again. 

 

Before  commencing  to  clean  the  kettle,  ensure  that  the  mains  power  is 
switched OFF and the power cord is removed from the appliance. Wait until 
the appliance is at room temperature before commencing to clean it. 

 

Never  immerse  the  appliance  into  water,  or  allow  moisture  to  contact 
with it. 

 

When it is necessary, the exterior surfaces may be cleaned with a soft 
damp  cloth.  Never  use any  chemical or  abrasive  solution  to  clean  the 
kettle. 

 

To  clean  the  interior  of  the  kettle,  use  a  food-grade  descaling 
compound manufactured for this purpose, such as citric acid.
