1. Install 3 USB cables into the MDU Gateway.
2. Connect the MDU Gateway power cord to the MDU Gateway and to
an electrical outlet.
3. Connect the RJ45 Ethernet cable to an Internet router and to the
MDU Gateway.
4. Ensure each electrical phase is connected to an electrical outlet
near the MDU Gateway. If the outlets are not available, an electrician
must install them. There are 3 methods for MDU Gateway signal
coupling, use only one of these methods:
a) Powerline to Coax coupling
b) Inductive coupling
c) Capacitive coupling
1. Connect the 1m coax cable to module 1 (or any of the modules, but
only one) of the MDU Gateway, connect to the RF splitter input.
2. Connect the 3 other 1m coax cables to the 3 outputs of the RF
splitter.
3. Connect the 3 Powerline to Coax couplers to the 3 coax cables.
4. Connect 3 Powerline signal coupling cables to the 3 Powerline to
Coax Couplers.
5. Connect each of the 3 powerline signal coupling cables to each
electrical phase (1 outlet for each phase).
6. Continue with the Basic Installation Procedure from step number 6.
1. Connect the Powerline signal coupling cable B to the MDU Gateway
module 1 (or any of the modules, but only one) power outlet.
2. Connect each of the 3 powerline signal loop cables to each electri-
cal phase (1 outlet for each phase).
3. Continue with the Basic Installation Procedure from step number 6.
1. Connect the 1m coax cable to module 1 (or any of the modules, but
only one) of the MDU Gateway, connect to the 11+1 Coupler input.
2. Connect 3 Powerline signal coupling cables to the 11+1 Coupler.
3. Connect each of the 3 powerline signal coupling cables to each
electrical phase (1 outlet for each phase).
4. Continue with the Basic Installation Procedure from step number 6.
