4.2 Connecting the device
Connect the temperature sensor: use the connector on the cable and insert
it into the appropriate housing. To make the connection, remove the plastic
protective cover from the device. Once the sensor is connected to device
body, put the plastic protective cover back into place.
Device correct operation is ensured by connecting it to a network with
internet access.
Caution!
The device supports 2.4 GHz WiFi network..
After the electrical connections, power device on and wait 10 seconds.
The device can be connected to the network by following two separate and
alternative procedures:
1) SMART CONFIG: Press and hold the button on the device for 5
seconds, the status LED will start fl ashing quickly. After downloading the
Cordivari Heat Manager and installing it on your device, open it from your
smartphone or tablet. Login with the email address and password chosen
during the registration process (see paragraph 4.1). Click on “add device”:
the button can be identifi ed by a “+” sign at the top right of the screen.
Click on”Smart Confi g”, enter the name of the WiFi network and the
password (of the WiFi network you want to connect to) to access it, and
click on “Search”. If the status LED goes off and then lights up and remains
steady on, the device has been confi gured correctly; you can proceed to
section 4.3.

2) ACCESS POINT MODE: to let the device access the network in
“Access Point” mode, quickly press the button on the device twice, the
status LED will start fl ashing every second. You can now connect your PC
or smartphone to the device. Use your PC or Smartphone to search for
the network created by the device called “BBOIL_XXX”, where XXX is a
combination of letters and/or numbers and connect; the network created by
the device does not require a password.
After connecting to the network created by the device, open the Internet
browser and enter 192.168.10.1 in the address bar, choose the Wi-Fi
network to which you want to connect the device, enter the relevant
password and click on “Connect”. The device will go back to standard
operation mode in about 20 seconds.
