1. Place the laundry in the drum
Open the external door and then the loading door.
Place the garments to be washed inside the drum one
by one laying them as flat as possible. Close the door
ensuring that the catch clicks into place.
2. Measure out the detergent
Pull out the dispenser drawer until it stops. Measure out
the amount of detergent recommended by the manu-
facturer in a graduated cup and pour it into the main
wash compartment
. If you wish to carry out a
prewash, pour detergent into the appropriate compart-
ment marked
.
3 Measure out the additives
If required, pour fabric
softener into the com-
partment marked
,
and bleach into the com-
partment marked
without exceeding the
«MAX» mark.
4 Select the required option and the spin
speed
5. Select the temperature
Turn the temperature
selector dial to the required
value.
6. Select the required programme and
start the machine
Plug into the mains.
Turn on the water tap.
Check that the drain hose is correctly positioned.
Turn the programme selector dial clockwise until the
programme coincides with the marker.
Depress the on/off button MARCHA/PARADA: the
«mains on» light will come on and the machine starts
operating.
7. At the end of the programme
The appliance stops automatically and the mains-on
light goes out.
If you have selected the Anti-Crease option drain the
water before opening the door.
Wait one or two minutes before opening the door to
give the electric locking mechanism time to release it.
Depress the on/off button to switch the machine off.
Release the option button(s).
Turn the water tap off and unplug the machine from
the mains.
Open the loading door and remove the laundry.
Ensure that the drum is completely empty by turning it
with one hand.
Leave the door ajar for a while to eliminate the steam.

Operating sequence
Important:
Before washing your first load of laundry, we recom-
mend that you run a cotton cycle at 60°C,
with the
machine empty , in order to remove any manufactur-
ing residue from the drum and tub.
Pour half a measure of detergent into the main wash
compartment and start up the machine.
