How to clean the Air Quality Sensor
Clean the Air Quality Sensor every two months to
ensure unit runs at peak efficiency. If the unit is
used in a dusty environment, please clean more
frequently.
1.
Remove front panels to access sensor.
2.
Use a clean, soft brush to clean the inlet/outlet
of the air quality sensor.
3.
Remove the protective cover of the air quality
sensor.
4.
Gently clean the sensor inlet and outlet with a
damp cotton swab.
5.
Fully dry the sensor with a second DRY cotton
swab.
6.
Replace protective cover and reinstall front
panels.
When indoor humidity is very high,
the air quality indicator may form
condensation. This may cause it to
indicate there is 'poor' air quality in
your room. To correct this issue, you
will have to clean the air quality
sensor or use a manual fan speed
setting.
