Locating the Network Camera and assigning the IP Address
Before getting access to the Network Camera from user’s host PC, it’s necessary to properly configure its network setting.
This camera uses 192.168.1.200 as the default IP address. If you would like to assign a new static IP address, “
IP Discovery Tool
” is
recommended. The tool is provided along with the DVD installation disc.
Using the IP Discovery Utility
Once installed, click on “Refresh” and identify your Network Camera
by its MAC Address (MAC ID), shown on the FCC/CE label on the back
of the Network Camera. Then, double click on it or click “Connect” to
open the main page.
Manual IP Setup
Users might need to assign a new IP address or obtain an unused IP address.
Click on the Network Camera and select “Setup” to check/fill out the following fields:
User name/ Password/ IP Address / Subnet Mask / Gateway
Click on “Update” (under “Setup” page) to apply the changes.

Remember to input a different value for the last digits of IP address from the "ipconfig”, ranging from 1 to 255
To find more information about your IP, go to “ Start” > “All Programs” > “Accessories
”
> “Command Prompt
”
, and
then type “ipconfig”
Accessing the Network Camera
The user can access this camera directly via Internet Explorer.
Once the Network Camera is accessed, the Network Camera will request a Username and Password.
The default Username and Password is “
admin
” and “
admin
”.
For Internet Explorer, the installation of an ActiveX will be required.
Lower your Security Options for allowing such installation.
To adjust the Security Options of Internet Explorer follow the below instructions:
1.
Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Custom Level > Security Settings > Download unsigned
ActiveX controls > Select “Enable” or Prompt.

Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Custom Level > Initialize and script ActiveX controls not
marked as safe > Select “Enable” or Prompt
3.
Click on “Yes” for adjusting the security settings
Wi-fi Setup
Refer to the User’s Manual for more reference on the different modes to setup the Network Camera under Wi-fi network environments.
WPS Connection
Connect the power adapter for the network camera first and turn on the unit.
Hold on the WPS button a while. The unit is then activated and the LED will flash in the order of: Orange >
Red > Orange (fast-flashing first and then slow). After that, the unit
has completed the process for WPS.

Please make sure that the network router you are using must comes with WPS function.
