The communication of CGVision over ethernet with CEAG emergency lighting systems with
EGA – bus (ZB96, GVL24.1 and ZVL220) results from an integrated network card (LAN) in
the PC of CGVision. Over a COM – redirection (software) the EGA / COM – server – which is
connected to the ethernet – gets assigned to a COM – port by the TCP / IP – address. This
COM – port can be assigned to one EGA line and so to one device – familiy of max. 32
emergency lighting sytems in the CGVision.
It is possible to assign up to 8 pcs. EGA / COM – server per device – familiy, that means
max. 8 lines per device – familiy are visualisable on CGVision, but max. 15 pcs. EGA – lines
per CGVision in total.
