Power Down

Select Power Down to turn off the Handheld. The Handheld will also power down when the power/select button is held down for 

a few seconds. The exception to this is during temperature recording, the Handheld will not power down if a corrective action is 

required, or if a record needs to be saved. 

Battery 

Charging

To charge the Handheld battery either:

•  connect the USB cable between the wall adaptor and the Handheld USB connector (recommended). 

•  connect the USB cable between the computer USB port and the Handheld USB connector. 

Allow the battery to charge for at least three hours. 

Replacing Battery

1. Remove the Handheld from the protective boot. 

2. Remove the two screws located on the back of the Handheld, and remove the battery door. 

3. Lift the old battery out of the battery compartment, and disconnect it from the Handheld by gently pulling on the battery wires. 

4. Install the new battery by reversing the procedure. The battery wires should nest in the channel beneath the battery so that the 

battery can seat flat within the battery compartment without damage to the wires.

Cooper-Atkins’ HACCP Manager Enterprise Handheld has been tested to meet the European Electromagnetic Compatibility 

Directive (EMC Directive, 2004/108/EC). The Declaration of Conformity for your instrument lists the specific standards to which the 

instrument was tested. 

1.2 Emission Testing

The instrument fulfills the requirements for Class B equipment. 

1.3 Radiated Immunity Testing. 

The instrument meets the requirements for radiated immunity. 

 If connected to the computer USB port, the computer must be running in order for the USB port to supply power for  

 charging the battery. 

  The battery connector has an alignment feature to prevent reversed connection. Be sure the battery door gasket is in place  

  before replacing the battery door.
