• Setting TV-out
Setting the Video Output System
The video output signal can be switched (NTSC or PAL) to accommodate different signal systems. For
example: NTSC for USA, Canada, Taiwan, Japan, etc. and PAL for Europe, Asia (excluding Taiwan), etc.
You can change the video output system according to the following steps:
1. Set the Capture/Playback selector to Playback mode.
2. Open the LCD panel, then turn on the camera.

NOTE:
When “NTSC” or “PAL” is selected, the LCD screen turns black. When “LCD” is selected, the LCD screen will return to Playback mode.
Connecting to a TV
When the camera is connected to a TV and “NTSC” or “PAL” is selected, the LCD screen is not active and
the TV screen now performs as the camera LCD screen.
1. Connect the camera to a TV via the TV-out cable (supplied) as illustrated.
2. Set the TV to “Video” mode.
3. When the camera is set to Capture mode, you can preview
the subjects you want to record on the TV screen.
4. When the camera is set to Playback mode, you can review all
the pictures, video and audio clips stored in the SD card on
the TV.
