• 

DO NOT

 use metal kitchen tools or utensils in the 

Sear Cooking Pot

. These may cause 

irreparable damage to the non-stick surface.

• 

DO NOT

 put the non-stick Pot on the Hob for a prolonged period. This may cause if to 

distort or crack.

• 

PLEASE NOTE:

 When searing using the Non- Sick Cooking Pot some slight distortion 

such as bowing of the base may occur. This is normal due to the expansion of aluminium 

and is not a cause for concern.

• 

ALWAYS

 use non-metallic long handled spoons or tongs when checking the progress of 

the cooking.

•  If the 

Slow Cooker

 requires re-filling in use, 

ALWAYS

 switch it 

OFF

 first.

• 

NEVER

 add boiling water to the 

Slow Cooker

 when in use; hot water is OK for filling 

or refilling.

• 

NEVER

 cook meat, poultry or seafood from frozen. 

ALWAYS 

thaw completely first.

NEVER

 allow the 

Slow Cooker 

to run out of liquid, otherwise a hazard may occur.

NEVER

 put the 

Slow Cooker Lid

 in the oven - it is designed to be used with the 

Slow 

Cooker Base Unit

•  Always wear protective, insulated oven gloves when removing the 

Lid

Pot

 whilst operating.

 when in use as hot liquids may spill out causing burns.

 has been used to sear ingredients

 place it down on a 

non-heat resistant surface as the bottom of the pot will be very hot.
