time and read the following instructions and information
completely. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place
for future reference. If you sell the device, please pass these
operating instructions on to the new owner.
1. Explanation of warning symbols and notes
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to
draw your attention to specific hazards and risks.

This is used to indicate additional information or
important notes.
2. Package contents

3. Safety instructions
• This product is intended for private, non-commercial
use only.
• Only use the product for the intended purpose.
• Before using the product for the first time, read these
operating instructions together with your child.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating,
and only use it in dry environments.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks
• Do not operate the product outside the power limits given
in the specifications.
• Do not use the product in areas where the use of
electronic products is not permitted.
• Do not open the power pack or continue to operate it if it
becomes damaged.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.
Leave all service work to qualified experts.
• Keep children away from the packaging material as there
is a risk of suffocation.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to
locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids
the warranty.
4. Getting started and operation
4.1 Removing/inserting the hip strap
Warning – Installation
• Ensure that no electrical cables are crushed or
damaged during installation or adjusting.
• Strictly avoid using undue force when using the
product or during installation.
Note
• The procedure for removing/inserting the hip
strap may be different for backpacks of other
manufacturers. Please refer to the instructions for the
backpack you are using.
Inserting the hip strap
• Guide the hip strap through the side opening.
• Position the hip strap so that it is located in the middle
of the back part.
• The hook-and-loop straps close automatically.
• In the case of backpacks with a metal rod, insert the latter
into the loop between the two hook-and-loop straps.
Removing the hip strap
• Release the hook-and-loop straps of the hip strap.
• Lift up the hip strap slightly.
• Then pull out the hip strap sideways.
