Remove the clear release liner from
the ConvaTec Moldable Technology
™
skin barrier. Immediately apply the
skin barrier, centering the opening
over the stoma.
Press the skin barrier into place. The
rolled adhesive should be adjusted to
the stoma to create a snug fit
between the adhesive and the
stoma. Press down on the rolled
adhesive along the entire outside of
the stoma to ensure a good seal.
Then, hold the adhesive in place for
at least 30 seconds to secure the
skin barrier to the skin. Remove the
white paper from the back of the
hydrocolloid fabric collar and press it
against the skin, smoothing out any
wrinkles.

Note:
To begin, allow a small
amount of air into the pouch by
gently expanding it.
Align the flange coupling ring on
the Natura
®
pouch with the flange
coupling ring on the Natura
®
Low-
Pressure Adaptor. Press the two
rings together, beginning at the
bottom and circling around to the
top. Several “clicks” may be heard.
Gently tug on the pouch to be sure
the two pieces are securely con-
nected. To remove the pouch from
the Low-Pressure Adaptor, use the
“Pinch and Pull” technique. Pinch
the rim of the Low-Pressure Adap-
tor with one hand and pull on the
pouch tab with the other hand to
separate them.
Note:
Do not remove the Natura
®
Low-Pressure Adaptor from the
skin barrier when removing the
pouch.

Roll or fold up the tail closure four
times and press the interlocking
closures together. You may hear a
soft “click” when you lock them
into place. Wrap the security flap
over the folded tail and press down
to secure.
