TURNING THE POWER ON
REMOTE CONTROL SETUP
•
Insert the plug into the power outlet.
•
Turn the power switch located on the
product base to ON. The heater will “beep”
and the POWER INDICATOR light on the
control panel will illuminate.
•
Remove the battery cover and install the
two “AAA” batteries supplied.
•
When the heater’s power is on, the
remote control can be used to operate the
heater from up to 6m away.
Note: if there are two or more heaters within
this distance, both will be operated by the
same remote control.
•
Turn the heater ON by pressing the
“POWER” button on the unit or the
on
remote control (see Fig 1 & 3). The inlet air
temperature will be displayed on the LCD
display (Fig 2).
•
Press the “MODE” button on the unit or
the remote control to change between the
different modes:-
-
AUTO: Thermostat control
-
HIGH: High heat, no thermostat
-
LOW: Low heat, no thermostat
-
FAN: Fan only operation
•
Turn the heater OFF by pressing the
“POWER” button at any time.
•
Set the MODE to AUTO
•
Select the temperature setting you want
by using “+ UP” and “- DOWN” buttons on
the unit or remote. “SET” will be displayed
on the LCD display whilst adjusting the
temperature. You can select in the range of
15°-30°C.
HEATER FUNCTIONS
To use the thermostat:-
•
When the inlet air temperature is below
the selected set temperature, the unit will
blow hot air. If the inlet air is above the set
temperature, the heat element and fan will
turn off.
•
Press the TIMER button on the unit or the
remote control. “1.0 hr” will appear on the
timer display.
•
Continue pressing the TIMER button to
increase the set time by 1.0 hr increments up
to 8.0 hrs.
You can change the time
remaining at any point by pressing the
TIMER button To cancel the timer, continue
pressing until the timer symbol disappears.
•
Leave at the desired time. The timer will
begin to count down and indicate the time
remaining on the timer display until the
heater turns itself off.
Press the
button on the control panel
or remote control to turn oscillation on. The
heater will swing from side to side in a 90°
arc.
Press again to stop the heater
oscillating.
To maximise the efficiency of the heater,
clean the inlet and outlet grilles regularly.
• Unplug the heater from the mains power
supply before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the
outside. Never use thinners or other strong
chemicals on the heater surfaces.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and
dust from the inlet and outlet grilles.
• Ensure the heater is dry before plugging
back into the mains power supply.
