SAFETY DEVICES
To maximise the efficiency of the heater,
clean the inlet and outlet grilles regularly.
• Unplug the heater from the mains power
supply before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the
outside.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and
dust from the inlet and outlet grilles.
• Ensure the heater is dry before plugging
back into the mains power supply.
To avoid overheating problems the in built
safety device will interrupt electricity if the
heating elements become too hot.
If this should happen:
• Take the plug out of the mains socket.
• Let the heater cool down for 10 minutes.
• Check that the heater is positioned
correctly.
• See that there is no dust or other
obstacles hindering the air flow.
• Clean the inlet & outlet grilles if necessary.
The heater is also equipped with a ‘tip-over’
switch, which will turn off power to the heater
elements if it should fall over.
