This guide contains installation and applications information for the model 2600XM Automation Con-

troller.  The Model 2600XM has a flexible plug-in architecture, which supports a variety of modules, and

comes in two sizes:
• The 2600XM-5, the base model, containing slots for five modules and a plug-in CPU
• The 2600XM-10, containing slots for ten modules and a plug-in CPU
You program the 2600XM controller using CTC’s state programming language, Quickstep™ for Win-

dows™.  You run all programming and diagnostic functions for the controller using an RS-232 interface,

which you can also use as a computer communications port.
