How it works
The HeatMax™ UFH wiring centre works in the following ways:
Main function
When there is heating demand from at least one thermostat, a relay is energised,
opening the 2-port zone valve. This then energises further relays, turning on the pump
and boiler control signals.
Alternatively
If there is no 2-port zone valve used, the link wire S1-S2 should remain connected; and
in this case all devices (pump, boiler and zone valves) will work simultaneously.
External clock option
External time clock or programmers are connected to the mains supply terminals. The
entire UFH system will switch on and off following the programme from this clock.
Installation
NOTE:
Do not make any electrical connections until you are certain that the power is
switched off.
Tools required
• Phillips screwdriver (for cover removal or replacement)
•
Slotted screwdriver with a 2.5mm or 3mm blade (for making terminal connections)
