Installation
Unpacking your refrigerator-
freezer
WARNING: TWO OR MORE
PEOPLE ARE NEEDED TO
MOVE THE APPLIANCE. FAIL-
URE TO FOLLOW WARNING
COULD RESULT IN BACK OR
OTHER INJURIES.
• Remove tape and any labels from your re-
frigerator-freezer before using (except
the rating label).
• To remove any remaining tape or glue,
rub the area briskly with your thumb.
• Tape or glue residue can also be easily re-
moved by rubbing a small amount of liq-
uid dishwashing soap over the adhesive
with your fingers. Wipe with warm water
and dry.
• Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing al-
cohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive
cleaners to remove tape or glue. These
products can damage the surface of your
appliance.
• When moving the appliance, do not tilt
the refrigerator-freezer beyond 45° from
upright position.
Cleaning before use
After you remove all of the packaging ma-
terials, (especially the foam between out-
side condenser and cabinet should be re-
moved), clean the inside of the refrigera-
tor-freezer before using it.
Space requirements
WARNING: KEEP THE APPLI-
ANCE AWAY FROM FLAM-
MABLE MATERIALS SUCH AS
GASOLINE. FAILURE TO DO
SO, COULD RESULT IN DEATH,
EXPLOSION, FIRE OR BURNS.
To assure proper ventilation for the unit, al-
low 200 mm space on each side between
walls, 200 mm space between back of your
refrigerator-freezer and the wall, and 300
mm space between counter top and the
roof or ceiling.
If you are installing your refrigerator-
freezer next to a fixed wall, leave sufficient
space on the hinge side to allow for the
door to open.
Never install the refrigerator near heat
sources and direct sunshine.
Electrical requirements

USE ADAPTER. DO NOT USE
EXTENSION CORDS. FAILURE
TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUC-
TIONS COULD RESULT IN
DEATH, FIRE OR ELECTRIC

Before you move the unit to its final loca-
tion, it is important to make sure you have
the proper electrical connection.
