2. Description of Product Components
Components such as connectors, switches are described.
1. LED: Access, Drive, POWER, HDD, User
There are seven LEDs on the front of this product.
LED name State (Display color) Display content
Access LED OFF This LED lights up when the hardware RAID is selected. *1
Drive 1 LED OFF This LED lights up when the hardware RAID is selected. *1
Drive 2 LED OFF This LED lights up when the hardware RAID is selected. *1
POWER LED ON (Green) This indicates the product is operating properly. (ON)
HDD LED ON (Orange) This LED flashes during data transmission. (Flashing)
User LED 1 OFF
This LED can light up with the hardware RAID monitoring tool* 2
or by command of your software.
User LED 2 Off
This LED can light up with the hardware RAID monitoring tool* 2
or by command of your software.
*1 For details, see "LED Status (page90)” in the “ Hardware RAID Setup“ .
*2 The monitoring tool is not yet available in the market.
2. Power Switch: POWER SW
This is the power switch.
3. Reset Switch: RESET SW
The product is equipped with a hardware reset switch. To avoid pressing this switch by mistake, it is
designed to make it harder to press down. Use a fine-tipped object to press the switch.
4. LINE IN Interface: LINE IN
The product is equipped with a connector for line input. You can connect a CD player or other audio
output device to the product, and then record audio to the system or play back audio from LINE
OUT.
5. LINE OUT Interface: LINE OUT
The product is equipped with a connector for line output. As such, headphones or an amplified
speaker can be connected.
