3. Setup
Before Using the Product for the First Time
Follow the next steps to set up this product :
STEP1
Connect cables.
Connect to the port and slot that mentioned in the chapter 2, in the right way.
STEP2 Method for Installation
Install properly according to the installation method of this product that describes in this
chapter.
STEP3 Turn on the power.
After verifying that you have correctly followed steps 1 and 2, turn on the power.
If you find any abnormality after turning on the power, turn it off and check to see if the
setup has been performed properly.
Hardware Setup
Method for Power Supply
Use the power supply that satisfies the power supply specifications for this product (12-24VDC±5%).
The use of a power supply other than the above may result in product failure or accidents.
Recommended power : IPC-ACAP12-04L

Method for Installation
The controller can be installed on the wall or desk using the bracket fittings provided with the product.
First attach the bracket fittings to the main unit using the M3 screws provided with the product.
Then, secure the main unit with the bracket fittings to the installation location. Use screws that are
suitable for securing the main unit.
CAUTION
When operating the product in a high temperature environment, be careful to sufficiently release the
heat inside the main unit even while it is running within the specified temperature range.
