Step 4 Initializing the Software

T he driver library requires the initial setting to recognize the execution environment. It is called the
initialization of the driver library.

Setting the device name

(1) Start Device Manager. Select [My Computer] - [Control Panel] - [System], then select the [Device

Manager] tab.
(Alternatively, right click on My Computer and select Properties.)

(2) T he installed hardware appears under the "CONT EC Devices" node in the tree.

Open the device tree and select the device (the selected device appears highlighted).
Click [Properties].

* T he name of the board you have
just added is displayed.
