5. About Software

DIO-32DM3-PE

Using Sample Programs

Sample programs have been prepared for specific basic applications.

For the API-DIO(WDM), The sample programs are stored in

\Program Files\CONTEC\API-PAC(W32)\DIOWDM\Sample

Use these sample programs as references for program development and operation check.

* When the installation folder is changed, the folder of the sample program is different.

Running a Sample Program

(1) Click on the [Start] button on the Windows taskbar.

(2) For the API-DIO(WDM), from the Start Menu, select “Programs” – “CONTEC API-PAC(W32)” –

“API-DIO(WDM)” – “SAMPLE…”.

(3) A sample program is invoked.

Sample list

Simple I/O

: Executes digital I/O processing of the specified port.

Multiple port/bit I/O ports/bits : Simultaneously executes digital I/O processing of multiple

Monitoring Trigger

: Monitors rising-edge/falling-edge triggers.

Interrupt

: Executes interrupt processing of the specified board.

Sampling *1

: Executes pattern input (sampling) in 32bits.

Saves sampling data to a file.

Infinite Sampling *1

: Executes pattern input (sampling) in 32bits infinitely.

Saves sampling data to a file.

Generating *1

: Executes pattern output (generating) in 32bits.

Sync Sampling *1

: Executes synchronous operation of the two boards connected to

each other via a synchronization control connector.

*1: This sample can only be used on devices that are equipped with a bus master transfer function.
