11.2.2
Message registers
Each of the 10 message registers can be configured with a text message and recipients. The default value of
each register is ‘0’. When written to ‘1’ the GSM
-PRO2 will send the message to the recipients and writes the
value of the register back to ‘0’.

Digital registers
The digital
registers can contain a value of ‘0’ or ‘1’ which can
be altered by user defined or pre-defined SMS
instructions.
This way remote digital instructions can be given to the PLC.

Analog registers
The analog registers can contain a value between ‘0’ and ‘65535’ which can be altered by user defined or pre
-
defined SMS instructions.
This way remote analog instructions can be given to the PLC.

Default messaging
To change the register value by a default message SMS:
WREGnv
where n is the register address and v the
value.
To read the register value by a default message SMS:
RREGn
where n is the register address.
11.2.6
Restart module
Modbus register 10 is default set to ‘1’ on startup. When written to ‘0’ the GSM
-PRO does a restart.
