SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
NEVER
stand or have any part of your body in line
with the path of the wheel.
NEVER
attempt to free a stalled wheel without first
turning the saw OFF and disconnecting the saw
from the power source.
IF THE POWER SUPPLY CORD IS DAMAGED,
it
must be replaced only by the manufacturer or by an
authorized service center to avoid risk.f
AVOID AWKWARD OPERATIONS AND HAND
POSITIONS
where a sudden slip could cause your
hand to move into the cutting tool.
MAKE SURE THE WORK AREA HAS AMPLE
LIGHTING
to see the work and that no obstructions
will interfere with safe operation BEFORE
performing any work using the saw
ALWAyS TURN OFF SAW
before disconnecting it,
to avoid accidental starting when reconnecting to
power supply.
THIS TOOL
should have the following markings:
a) Wear eye protection.
b) Disconnect saw before servicing, when
changing cutting wheels, and cleaning.
c) Use tool only with smooth edge cutting
wheels free of openings, grooves, and
teeth.
d) Replace damaged cutting wheel before
operating.
e) Do not fill water bath above water fill
line.

frequently and use to instruct other users. If you
loan someone this tool, loan them these instructions
too.
OPERATION

Mounting the machine
§ The tile cutter may only be used as a fixed tool
and should be screwed down to a level
and horizontal surface.
§ Use the screw holes (2) in the base of the
machine.
§ Keep water full in the tank when you operate the
cutter.

ASSEMBLY
Mounting the riving knife (fig. A)
Unscrew the two (crosshead) screws and place
the foot of the riving knife under the table.
Place the small plate (2 holes with thread) under
the foot of the riving knife
Connect the riving knife with the two screws and
the plate
Never cut tiles without having
the guard in place.
Mounting the cutting disc (fig. B& C)
Only use sharp and undamaged cutting discs.
Cracked or bent cutting discs must be replaced
immediately.
Unscrew two screws out of lower blade guard
and remove the guard. (fig. B)
Dismount nut (counterclockwise) and outer
flange
Place blade on the inner flange
Mount outer flange and nut (clockwise) again
(fig. C)
Place the lower blade guard back in position and
connect the two screws
Before mounting or replacing the
cutting disc always
unplug the tool.
Do not use cutting discs with a
thickness exceeding the
thickness of the riving knife.
Make sure that the spindle
diameter corresponds to the bore
diameter.
Do not use an adapter to mount a
cutting disc with a larger bore.
