To prevent the cutter head from jumping and to
obtain a good result, carry out exterior cuts in
anticlockwise and interior cuts in clockwise
direction.
Dust extraction
The dust extraction connection together
with an external vacuum cleaner takes care of
the dust extraction of the working surface.
■
First remove the cutter from the holder.
■
Mount the dust extractor as shown in
the illustration.
■
Slide the suction mouth of a vacuum cleaner
onto the connection.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention! Before performing
any work on the equipment,
pull the power plug.
Service
§ Only qualified specialist personnel and original
replacement parts should be used for repairs. This
will ensure that your device remains safe.
Cleaning
§ Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the
ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt
does not come off use a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents
such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water,
etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
Lubrication
The machine requires no additional lubrication.
Checking and replacing the carbon brushes
The carbon brushes must be checked on a regular
basis.
_
Remove the carbon brush holders and clean the
carbon brushes.
_
In case of wear, replace both carbon brushes at
the same time.
_
Mount the carbon brush holders.
_
After mounting new carbon brushes, let
the machine run at no load for 15 minutes.
CAUTION
Always disconnect the
machine from the power
supply before removing any
electrical covers
If the performance of the machine is poor or
excessive sparking is observed through the
ventilation slots, the carbon brushes must be
replaced. Remove the two covers of the brush
housing with a screwdriver. Remove the two worn
brushes. Insert the new brushes , replace the
covers and screw them into position.
Use only the correct type of
carbon brushes.

The declared vibration total value has
been measured in accordance with a standard
test method and may be used for comparing one
tool with another that the declared vibration total
value may also be used in a preliminary
assessment of exposure.
A warning that the vibration emission
during actual use of the power tool can differ
from the declared total value depending on the
ways in which the tool is used and of the need to
identify safety measures to protect the operator
that are based on an estimation of exposure in
the actual conditions of use (taking account of
all parts of the operating cycle such as the times
when the tool is switched off and when it is
running idle in addition to the trigger time).
