Programming Your DVR
Overview
DVR lets you record your favorite programs and watch them on your schedule. With DVR you can rewind
and fast-forward recorded programs, plus rewind and pause live TV.
Consolidated offers DVR Basic and Whole-Home DVR.
DVR Basic allows you to record up to two shows at a time per set-top box with a DVR in your home. The
program can be watched only on the set-top box it was recorded on.
Whole-Home DVR offers the same functionality as DVR basic with the added feature of being able to
watch the recorded show or schedule a recording from any set-top box in the home.
Pause a Live Program
1.
Press the Pause button on your remote control.
2.
A paused program will stay paused between 30 and 45 minutes and then will resume play.
3.
Press the Play button to resume programming.
4.
If you paused a live program, you will now be able rewind and fast-forward that program until ti
catches up to the live viewing time.
Record a Live Program
1.
While watching a program press the OK button.
2.
A menu will display to Record a Program, Expanded Info and Cancel.
3.
Choose Record a Program and press OK.
4.
The current program will start recording at the time you pushed the record button. It will not start
from the beginning.
5.
A red dot will appear indicating the program is recording.
Set Up a Future DVR Recording
1.
Press the GUIDE button on your remote control.
2.
Highlight a future program and press OK.
3.
The menu will display with options.
4.
Select Record Program and then press OK.
