strips which are under the batteries. Afterwards, place the batteries back in the correct posi-
tion, put the battery cover on and close it.

Once the button batteries have contact, all the symbols on the display light up. Once this has
happened, the product is ready to operate.
• Now install the application “iSport Activity Monitor”.
For this purpose, open the respective App Store on your smartphone. For Android this is the
“Google Play Store” and if you are using an iPhone, open the “App Store”.
Search for the app “iSport Activity Monitor” and install it.
If you cannot find the app in the iTunes “App Store”, simply put “iSport Activity Monitor” into
the search field on your iPhone internet browser. Click on the link that guides you to iTunes
(…for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad...). This opens the App Store on your unit and you can
install the app.
• Enable Bluetooth
®
on your smartphone. With Android you will find the function in the settings
menu under the section “Connections”. With Apple iOS you will find the function under set-
tings in the Bluetooth
®
section.
• Now start the application.
Normally the menu point “Device” opens automatically when no unit is connected. Should this
not happen, click on the app on the lower right-hand side of the wheel and then on “Device”.
• After a short search, the step counter should be recognized as “MillionPedometer”. If not,
then click on “Refresh”.
In order to connect your smartphone with the pedometer, click on the text “MillionPedometer,”
which has a grey background. Once your smartphone is connected to the step counter the
text will turn blue and the word “(Paired)” is displayed.
Please note that the unit is not displayed as a connection in the Bluetooth
®
settings of your
smartphone.
• Then change to the settings by tapping on the gear wheel in the App.
• Here, enter the following data or select the following. The desired unit of measurement, your
date of birth, you weight, your gender, your target steps and your stride length. To save the
settings tap on “SAVE”.
Keep in mind that the information can only be synchronised to the pedometer if it is not in
sleep mode.
Function and operation
• The display and its functions:
1
Clock with hour and minute display; 12/24-hour format
2
The steps taken so far
3
The calories burned so far
4
The distance covered so far
The display switches to the next indication every 5 seconds. In this process, the se-
quence corresponds to above illustration. If you wish to switch to the next indication
manually, you just have to slightly tap on the pedometer.
1
The icon indicates that the clock functions in 12-hour format. In the 24-hour format this
indication is off. Your smartphone will save the hour format.
2
The bar-graph graphically displays the target of steps you have set. Each bar corresponds
to 10% of the set steps.
3
If you have configured a target, this symbol will be shown. If your target is reached, the
symbol starts to flash.
4
The battery symbol lights up when the battery has only a remaining capacity of 20%. In that
case, we recommend to replace the coin cell immediately.
5

®
