Intended use
The LED panel is intended for illuminating indoor areas; it may be installed and used only in dry, enclosed
indoor rooms. The product is intended for suspension at the ceiling where it is hung up by means of four
steel cables (included in the delivery).
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the risk of short
circuits,

re, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modi
fi
ed or converted!

Explanation of the symbols
The lightning symbol in a triangle is a warning to inform you of potential risks of personal injury,
such as electric shock.

The product is intended only for installation and use in dry interiors; it must not be exposed to
moisture or dampness.
Observe the operating instructions!
Safety Instructions
Read the complete operating manual carefully before using the product, as it contains
important information about the proper installation and operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect
handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases, the warranty will
be null and void.
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modi
fi
cation of the product is not allowed for safety and
approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children! Children do not realize
the danger arising from the incorrect use of electrical devices. Therefore, be especially careful
when children are around! Install the product out of the reach of children.
• The power must be disconnected during installation and while connecting the product.
• The product may be installed and used only in dry rooms; it must not get damp or wet, danger
of fatal electric shock!
• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse environmental conditions where combusti-
ble gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
• Use the product only when it is
fi
rmly and steadily mounted.
• Do not attach objects (e.g. decorative material) to the LED panel/LED driver or place them in
its vicinity; there is a risk of
fi
re.
• The steel cables provided and the installation kit are only designed for the weight of the LED
panel. Do not use them for other products.
• The LED driver must not be operated via a dimmer.
• The LED driver provided conforms to protection class II.
• The LED driver provided may only be connected and operated via a proper mains socket of
the public grid.
The mains socket into which the mains plug of the LED driver is plugged must be easily
accessible.
• Do not pull the power plug from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
• If the LED driver or the mains cable is damaged, do not use the product any longer.
Switch off the mains socket to which the mains cable is connected (switch off at the cor-
responding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, then switch off the earth leakage circuit
breaker). Then you can unplug the mains cable from the mains socket.
A faulty power mains cable may only be replaced by a specialist (electrician).
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be turned off
and precautions must be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally. After this, arrange
for an expert to check the product.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is
fl
ickering light, leaking
smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises, or discolouration of the product or to
adjacent surfaces)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• For safety reasons, unplug the mains plug from the mains socket before cleaning the product
or when the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. during storage).
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a dangerous
plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s Liability In-
surance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are to be observed!
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our technical
service or another specialist.
Installation and Connection
Please consult the chapter “Safety Instructions”!
• Only mount the LED panel and the LED driver on a stable surface, e.g. concrete ceiling.
• The LED panel and the LED driver must be installed out of the reach of children.
• The LED driver must be protected on the sub-distribution board by a 10/16A-fuse.
• Choose the installation location carefully if you want to install more than one LED panel (for instance, when
lighting a large entrance area or a similar place).
• The LED panel is hung up at the ceiling using 4 steel cables.

• First attach the four rings (3) to the corresponding nuts at the
edge of the LED panel (in slots at the back) using one screw (5)
each.
At the time of the creation of these operating instructions, there
were four fastened nuts in the corners of the LED panel and four
sliding nuts between the corners.
Use
either
the four nuts in the corners of the LED panel
or
the
four sliding nuts to fasten the rings (3).
Pay attention to a symmetrical arrangement of the steel cables
on the LED panel. Otherwise, the LED panel cannot be aligned
horizontally later on.
• Insert the open end of the four steel cables (1) from the inside
through the mounting caps (4).
• Screw down the mounting caps (4) on the rings (3) that you fastened on the LED panel at the beginning.
The four steel cables are now fastened on the LED panel.
• Fasten the 4 ceiling
fi
xtures (2) to the ceiling, with suitable screws and plugs, if required. Pay attention
when drilling/tightening the screws that no power, gas or water pipes are damaged.
