Disposal of Flat Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user you are legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. Disposal in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substan-
ces are marked with the symbols shown, indicating that they must not
be disposed of in the household waste. The labels for the heavy
metals which they may contain are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb
= lead. You can return spent batteries/rechargeable batteries and but-
ton cells free of charge to any authorised disposal station in your area,
in our stores or in any other store where batteries/rechargeable batte-
ries/button cells are sold.
You will thus fulfil your legal obligations and contribute to the protection of our envi-
ronment.
