Of course, the monitor can also be operated without the mains
adapter. However, the battery should be fully charged prior to
commissioning. Charging takes about 4 hours.
When completely charged, the monitor can be operated for 4
hours.
As soon as the monitor is operated with the mains adapter, the
internal battery is charged. During charging, the “indicator
LED” (20) turns red if the monitor is off, or orange if the monitor
is on. Once the battery is fully charged, the “indicator LED” (20)
turns green.
• Turn the monitor on by pressing the button “EXIT” (17) for approx. 2 seconds.
Now you will see the start screen and afterwards the main screen. You are now
located in the “settings mode” (for further details see chapter: „10. Settings
mode”).
• Turn the monitor off by pressing the button “EXIT” (17) for approx. 2 seconds.
8. Basic functions
a) Button „EXIT“ (17)
The „EXIT“ (17) button serves to turn the monitor on or off (keep the button
depressed for approx. 2 seconds).
If you briefly press the „EXIT“ (17) button, you return to the previous menu item or
menu up to the main screen.

The arrow buttons serve for navigation in the menus. They also serve to set para-
meters.
c) Button „PMP/AV“(13)
With this button, you can switch between „AV mode“ and “setup mode”.
