Replacing the Battery

The battery should only be replaced by a professional (watchmaker).
Replacing the battery yourself
• Open the battery compartment lid on the rear side of the device by removing the four housing
screws with a screw driver.
• Slightly lift the metal clip that holds the battery using a sharp object or a small screw driver.
• Remove the flat battery and insert a new button cell battery, of type CR2032 3V/DC, with the
correct polarity.
• Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the housing screws that were
removed before.
Disposal

Products and devices that are marked with the following symbol must not be dis-
posed of in the household waste. You are obliged to dispose of them separately.
Please check with your municipality about the correct disposal facilities.
Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disposal in household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/accumulators containing harmful substances are marked with the following
symbols. You can dispose of your used batteries free of charge at your municipality’s
collection point or any place where batteries are sold!
