7. Programming and Operation
All programming is saved in the device and is blackout-protected so that even after a longer
period without power no re-programming is required.
Please note:
There is a factory set 0.5 second delay for all switching procedures which cause
a change in the motor rotation. This avoids any direct switching of motor
direction and any resulting damages.
a) Programming the Receiver Channel
• Press the "retract" button connected to the "FS20 RSU" for at least 5 seconds.
• As soon as the roller shutter is rolled out, the programming mode is active for 1 minute.
• Now press a button for the desired channel on the remote control. If the roller shutter now
retracts, the receiver channel has been saved and the programming of the address is
complete.
• If required, the set programming can be replaced with another button on the remote control
or another remote control channel. Proceed as described above.
b) Operation
Using the Remote Control
Retracting:
Briefly pressing the right button of the channel programmed for the roller shutter
control, the roller shutter will be retracted.
Rolling out:
Pressing the left button rolls the roller shutter out.
Stopping:
The roller shutter can be stopped at any given position by briefly pressing the same
button again.
Direct Operation
• The functions as described in "Using the Remote Control" can be carried out using the two
standard attached buttons.
• Always press the standard buttons for retracting and rolling out the shutter for less than 5
seconds, otherwise the programming mode will be activated!
