• Insert a light bulb (max. 60W) with an E27 socket in the lamp’s socket and screw it tight.
Danger for cuts. Take care for sharp edges on the bottom of the glass body.
• Switch on the mains voltage again and ensure that the hanging lamp functions.
If the bulb in the hanging lamp does not light, switch off the mains voltage immedi-
ately (take out fuse or switch off circuit breaker).
Check the hanging lamp’s connections; also check the light bulb inserted.
In case of doubt, contact a professional (e.g. an electrician).
Maintenance and Care
• The suspended lamp is maintenance-free, you should never take it apart (except for installa-
tion as described in these operating instructions).
• Switch off the hanging lamp or disconnect it from the mains before cleaning. After that, tallow
sufficient time for the hanging light to cool. Carefully check the temperature of the glass body,
before cleaning the hanging lamp.
• The exterior of the hanging lamp should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not use
aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing (discolour-
ing) or impair operation.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Changing the Light Bulb
• Switch off the hanging lamp or disconnect it from the mains voltage before changing. After that,
tallow sufficient time for the hanging light to cool. Carefully check the temperature of the glass
body, before changing the light bulb.
• Carefully remove the old light bulb and dispose of it in an environmental friendly manner.
Then insert a new light bulb (E27 socket, max. 60W) in the socket of the hanging lamp. Do
not use force during when screwing in place.
Never reach into the lamp socket, and never put a finger or objects into the lamp
socket. Never touch the metal parts of the light bulb during removal or insertion.
There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
