• Make sure that electrical plug-in connections are located in areas protected against flooding,
otherwise, there is the lethal danger of an electric shock!
Operation
• The product is suitable for a supply voltage of 230V~/50Hz of the public power supply system only.
Never use the product with a different voltage.
• Always disconnect the plug if you are not using the device any more, as well as before repair or
maintenance.
Never disconnect the plug from the power outlet by pulling on the power cord. Always pull the plug
from the mains socket by the gripping area provided on the side only.
Never touch the plug when your hands are damp or wet. Danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
• The liquid to be pumped (rain, tap or well water) must be as clean as possible. Impurities (e.g. sand,
earth, leaves etc.) cause higher wear, thus reducing the life span of the pressure switch; in addition
to the possibility of a mechanical blockage.
For that reason, use a filter with your garden pump (e.g. coarse filter with reflux stop at the extremity
of the suction hose and a fine filter directly at the intake connection of the garden pump.
• The product is not suitable for the conveyance of drinking water.
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during transport) condensation may
form. This involves danger for life through an electric shock (condensation water on the mains plug)!
This is why you should always let the product get to room temperature before you use it or connect
it to the mains voltage. This can sometimes take several hours.
• Check the product before each use for damages, e.g. of the housing, the gaskets and the power cord/
mains plug.
If you notice any damages, the product must not be used. Repair of the damaged power cord is not
authorized!
There is the risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
If the product is already connected to the mains voltage, switch off the corresponding power socket
(e.g. disconnect the automatic circuit breaker) then remove the plug from the power socket.
Afterwards, the product must no longer be used, bring it to a specialist workshop.
Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by a specialist!
• Use the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical climate.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It might become a dangerous toy for children!
