Intended Use
The product is intended as a decorative light.
It may only be used in dry indoor locations. The product must not get damp or wet.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may
give rise to hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product
may be modified or converted!

observe these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The
warranty will be void in such cases.
a) In general
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is
inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The design of the product complies with safety class II. Only use a standard
power socket as the voltage source (see section „Technical Data“).
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• Any maintenance or repair work must only be carried out by authorised per-
sonnel.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this instruction manual,

b) Operation
• The product must not be connected to the mains voltage, while it is still in the
packaging!
Always remove the product from the packaging first, before use!
• The product is not a toy. Keep devices that operate on the mains voltage out
of the reach of children! Therefore, be especially careful when children are
around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
• The product can only be used in dry indoor rooms, it must not get damp or
wet, danger of electric shock!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room to a
warm one. Condensation that forms might destroy the device. Furthermore, there
is a danger of a fatal electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature, before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it in to use. This may take several hours.
• Do not use the product in rooms or in poor ambient conditions where
flammable gases, vapours or explosive dust may be present or are present!
There is a risk of explosion!
• Make sure there is sufficient clearance to easily inflammable materials. The
bulbs become hot during operation!
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or
accidental drops, even from a low height.
• These fairy lights must not be connected electrically to any other fairy lights.
• Never cover the product when it is in use.
• Make sure that the cable is not bent or squeezed.
• Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
Always pull the plug from the mains socket by only gripping the area provided
on the side.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you find any damage, you must not use the product!
If you detect any damage while the product is in use, do not touch the product,
there is a danger of an electric shock!
Switch off the mains voltage at the mains socket to which the power cable is
connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the
safety fuse). Furthermore, turn off the earth leakage circuit breaker in order to
disconnect all the poles of the mains supply.
Only after this should you can remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Afterwards, do no use the product anymore, it must be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way.
Do not attempt to repair a faulty cable (e.g. using duct tape), there is a danger
of an electric shock!
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not function or does not function properly (e.g, smell of
burning, flickering)
- the product was transported or stored under unfavourable conditions.
c) Bulb
• Before use, make sure here is an bulb in each light socket. Furthermore,
check that every bulb is completely and firmly plugged into the socket.
• Before replacing a faulty bulb, disconnect the product from the mains supply,
unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Immediately, replace a faulty bulb by a new one of the same voltage and the
same wattage. Otherwise, the voltage will increase at the other bulbs, which
may cause overheating.
