information. If you do not follow the safety information and information on
proper handling in these operating instructions, we will assume no liability for
any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate
the warranty/guarantee.

Power adapter
• The design of the power adapter complies with Protection Class II. Only connect
the power adapter to a standard mains socket connected to the public supply grid.
• The mains socket must be located near the product and be easily accessible.
• If the power adapter shows signs of damage, do not touch it, as there is a risk of
death from an electric shock!
Fully disconnect the mains voltage for the mains socket to which the power ad-
apter is connected (e.g. turn off the corresponding circuit breaker or unscrew the
fuse, and then turn off the residual current circuit breaker). Unplug the mains ad-
apter from the mains socket and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Check the power adapter for damage before each use!
• If you detect any damage, DO NOT connect the product to the mains supply!
Danger to life!
• The power adapter and the LED controller may only be used in dry, enclosed
indoor areas. They must be protected from moisture and dampness; never touch
them with wet hands!
b) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets. An electric
shock can be life threatening!
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light.
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
when using the product in industrial facilities.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.

Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
Assembly, connection and setup
a)
Mounting the LED strip and controller
Both the LED strip and the LED controller must be mounted in such a way that they
are not exposed to any mechanical stress.
The LED strip can be mounted on suitable surfaces using the adhesive tape located on the
underside.

Before affixing the LED strip, carefully clean the surface on which you wish to mount it to
remove any dust, dirt or grease, as otherwise the adhesive tape will detach from the surface.
• Remove part of the protective strip and stick the LED strip onto the mounting surface one
section at a time. However, do not use force when pressing down.
The LED strip can be cut at the marked points.
Attention! Disconnect the LED strip from the power supply before cutting it!
• The LED controller is also attached via the double-sided adhesive tape on the underside, and
should be placed near the LED strip.
• Proceed in the same way as for the LED strip. However, make sure that the LED strip can be
connected to the LED controller.

Intended use
This product is designed for use as a decorative light.
The LED strip supports RGB and CCT. This means that it can display 16 million colours as well
as cold-white to warm-white light.
The light is controlled and programmed via the "
Smart Life – Smart Living
" app. A free
account is necessary to use this app. This must be created during the initial app setup.
The adhesive tape attached to the bottom of the LED strip can be used to attach the LED strip
to suitable surfaces, e.g. furniture, the floor, wall or ceiling. The LED strip can be shortened.
The LED strip must be operated via the supplied LED controller. Power is supplied via the
included power adapter.
The power adapter and the LED controller may only be used in closed rooms, i.e. not
outdoors. Contact with moisture, for example, in bathrooms, must be avoided. The LED strip is
splashproof and can therefore be used in protected outdoor areas.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the operating
instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third
parties together with its operating instructions.
