Set the correct input channel on the display device, to display the camera image.
If necessary, the camera has to be correctly oriented so you can monitor the desired field of
view.
The IR-LED is automatically activated by darkness. However, the LED is not visible to the hu-
man eye. Please bear in mind that the image on a connected monitor will not be displayed in
colour at night, but in black and white instead.

Maintenance and cleaning
Maintenance or repair work may be performed only by qualified personnel or a specialised
repair shop. The product contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open/dis-
mantle it.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. If it is very dirty, use
a cloth slightly moistened with clean water. Do not apply too much pressure on the front glass
or the housing, as this could cause scratching.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Troubleshooting
No camera image (or only interference patterns)
• Make sure that your digital recorder can function with AHD cameras. Common digital record-
ers are not suitable!
If your digital recorder supports AHD cameras as well as common CVBS-PAL cameras, make
sure that the correct operating mode is selected.
• Set the monitor to the right input channel.
• Check the voltage/power supply to the camera.
If the cable is too long, the voltage drops in the cable; use a cable with a larger diameter, if
necessary.
• Check the camera’s cable connections.
