Chapter 7 Troubleshooting

If you failed to install your modem in Windows95/98

Make sure that the COM port and IRQ have been set correctly, and it does not conflict

with another board installed in your computer.

Note: The following procedure is for Internal Modem only.

7.1 Please go to “

Start > Settings > Control Panel

” and double click on the

“

system

” icon. Select the “

Device Manager

” tab and double click on the

“

modem

” icon to call up the modem. Select “

and click “

Properties

” as shown below.
