Upgrade information
A firmware upgrade can improve the performance of your Conceptronic device and can sometimes add new
features.
Periodically firmware upgrades will be available via the official Conceptronic Website.
Conceptronic is not liable for any damages caused by an unofficial, not by Conceptronic approved firmware
for this specific Conceptronic device. Firmware upgrades, even while using official approved firmware, are
always at your own risk.
Installing new firmware without taking the following precautions into account will seriously harm the life
span of your Conceptronic device.
While installing new firmware, make sure the installation procedure is
never
interrupted.
Interruptions can, amongst others, be caused by:

turning off the device;
-
disconnecting the external USB device from where the upgrade process was started;

disconnecting the power supply;
-
pressing one or more buttons on the remote control or the device;
-
a general power shutdown.
Note:
If you upgrade the CMT2D with the latest firmware, you need to reconfigure all settings, including
the channels. All stored data on the internal hard disk will
not
be affected by the firmware upgrade.
Note:
The Conceptronic CMT2D can only be upgraded by a USB storage device, like a USB stick or a USB
hard disk.
