OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
1. Open the battery compartment cover located in the bottom part (Fig. 1).
2. Insert one battery type CR2032 (button cell) in the battery compartment, and
replace the cover carefully.

WEIGHING
1. Put the unit on a stable, horizontal surface.
2. Push the button to switch the unit on.
3. If you need to reset the display, press the button again.
4. Put the food or vessel with the food to be weighed on the weighing surface
in an even manner; do not put anything on the edges. The result could be
inaccurate, and there is a risk of falling.
5. If you are making up full weight, or need to eliminate the weight of the vessel
used (tare function), push the button to reset the displayed value.
6. After the weighing is fi nished, switch the unit off by pushing button; the
unit will switch off automatically after 2 minutes.
SELECTION OF WEIGHING UNITS
Press the button to select weight units (g) volume units (ml).
OTHER INFORMATION ON THE DISPLAY
If the
batt
message is displayed after switching on (Fig. 2), or nothing is displayed,
the battery is fl at and has to be replaced.
