VIS DE PUISSANCE
Cette vis règle la puissance de la tondeuse.
Elle demande un ajustement si le courant de
secteur est faible. (La tondeuse Conair
®
est
conçue pour l’usage ménager.)
1. A vec un tournevis ou une pièce de mon -
naie, tourner la vis dans le sens horaire
jusqu’au cliquetis.
2. Ramener la vis dans le sens antihoraire
jusqu’à ce que le cliquetis disparaisse. Il
s’agit du réglage maximal.
Ne tirez jamais le fil de la tondeuse. Ne tordez
ni n’enroulez le fil autour de la tondeuse. Pour
le rangement, placez-la à plat, le fil enroulé,
puis insérez-la dans le cylindre.
Si la tondeuse s’arrête et que cette mesure
n’aide pas, essayer de desserrer les lames
pour enlever les cheveux.
Si la tondeuse fonctionne toujours mais sans
couper, vérifi ez les lames. Pour obtenir des
lames neuves, faites par venir un chèque ou
mandat-poste de 8,00 $, qui couvrent les frais
de poste et administratifs, à :

Conair will repair or replace (at our
option) your unit free of charge for 24 months
from the date of purchase if the appliance is
defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty,
return the defective product to the
service centre listed below together with
your purchase receipt and $7.50 for
postage and handling. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be
2 years from the date of manufacture.

POWER SCREW
The power screw permits you to adjust power
to your clipper. You may need to make this
adjustment if the power in your house is
low. (The Conair® clipper was designed for
household use.)
1. With a screwdriver or a dime, turn the pow-
er screw clockwise until the arm strikes the
coil, making a clacking noise. (FIG. 1)
2. Then turn the screw counterclockwise, just
until the noise stops. This is the maximum
power setting. (FIG. 2)
Never pull on the clipper cord. Never twist
or wrap the cord around the clipper. To store
your clipper, lay it flat with the cord coiled up,
then place in cylinder. If clipper stops cutting,
check to see if there is a clump of hair lodged
between the blades. If that is the problem, un-
plug the clipper and then loosen the blades to
remove the hair.
If the clipper stops cutting but does not stop
running, you will need to check the blades.

for $5.00 plus $2.50 for postage and handling

safe, dry location, out of reach of children.

Your Conair® clipper blades are made of high
carbon stainless. They are engineered for pre-
cise, professional results. If blades feel like they
are pulling or grabbing hair, it means they are
losing their sharpness and should be replaced
as soon as possible.
Attachment combs should also be replaced if
they are lost or broken. It is easier to cut hair
with the accuracy of a pro when the necessary
tools are at your fingertips.
Conair makes a variety of accessories for dif-
ferent haircut kits. If your haircut kit does not
include them, you may want to consider adding
them to your professional haircutting tools. Left
and right ear attachment combs provide effort-
less, precise cutting around the ears. Styling
clips hold hair in place when you are sectioning
hair. A styling comb makes it easy to taper or
cut hair at an angle. A barber cape ensures a
comfortable and neat haircut and a convenient
storage pouch keeps all your essentials in one
place. Last but not least, an easy-to-follow 30-
minute “Haircuts at Home” video is available. It
demonstrates basic haircutting techniques and
follows four popular haircuts step by step. It will
