This mode is deleted automatically after 24 hours or
once you start your car with either your manual key
or remote. In order to enter Timer Start Mode, press
Buttons
simultaneously for a ½ second.
Please note: Timer Start Mode becomes
Cold Start

once an optional temperature sensor is
installed.
Important!
Timer Start Mode should be used only in
open areas. Never start and run the vehicle in an
enclosed space such as a garage or carport.

CompuStar 1WFM4R system has several safety
shut down features. The following actions will shut
down the engine or prevent the car from auto-
starting:
Opening of the car engine hood, Pressing of the
brake or
Valet mode is turned on.

These additional features may be programmed to
the CompuStar system by your authorized
CompuStar dealer.
I g n i t i o n L o c k
Automatic Transmission Vehicle: This programmable
option enables your vehicle to automatically lock the
doors upon starting the vehicle with a key. In
addition, the vehicle will automatically unlock the
doors upon pulling the key out from the ignition.
This option must be chosen at the time of installation.
Manual Transmission Vehicle or Turbo Mode: This
programmable option will locks the doors with in 5
seconds after starting the vehicle with a key and the
emergency brake is released.
P a s s i v e L o c k i n g
You can turn this function on or off by pressing
Buttons
for a ½ second
.
When set to passive locking, your system will lock
automatically 30 seconds after all the car doors are
closed.
T u r b o M o d e
If this optional Turbo Mode has been programmed
at the time of installation
, you can turn this feature
on and off by pressing Buttons
.
Under this mode, engine continues running for 2
minutes after key has been taken out from the ignition
if emergency brake was on when the key is taken out.
To utilize this mode, the emergency brake sensing
wire has to be connected to the emergency brake wire
of the vehicle. Consult the authorized dealer for this
mode.
This option is ideal for turbo charged vehicles.

The CompuStar 1WFM4R remote has additional
features and expansion possibilities that require
additional parts and labor.
C o l d S t a r t M o d e
If the optional temperature sensor has been installed
, Timer
Start Mode becomes Cold Start Mode. Under this mode, your car
automatically starts if the temperature of the inside of the vehicle
goes below the preset temperature. The minimum interval
between the starts will be 1.5 or 3.0 hours depending on preset
options during the time of installation. Cold Start Mode is
activated or deactivated by pressing Buttons
for a ½
second.

Firstech, Inc Warrants to the original purchaser that this product
shall be free of defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and circumstances for the period of time that the
original owner of this product owns the vehicle in which it is
installed; except that the remote controller unit for the period of
one year from the date of installation to the original owner of this
product. When the original purchaser returns the product to the
retail store where it was purchased or pre-paid postal to Firstech,
