Software Installation
This chapter explains the basic setup procedures of configuring Compex SGX3226 using the
web-based interface. For more detailed information about Compex SGX3226, please refer to

Configuring your PC’s setting - TCP/IP Configuration
The first step is to ensure that the PC gets an IP address for which it will use to
communicate across the network. You can begin by giving an IP address to your PC.
1.
From
My Network Places
, right click and select
Properties
.
2.
Next, go to your network adapter and right click to select
Properties
.
3.
Select
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click the
Properties
button.
4.
Click on the radio button for
Use
the following IP address:
. Enter
the IP addresses, such as
IP address
- 192.168.100.10
and
Subnet mask –
255.255.255.0
.
5.
If you are connected to Internet,
enter the IP address of your
Preferred DNS server.
6.
Click on the
Ok
button to update
changes.
