Instructions for use

In order to use the charger safely and correctly, it
is necessary to read this manual carefully before
use.

Safety instructions

ź

Intended for charging lead and LiFePO4 batteries.

ź

Ensure that the terminals are perfectly connected to
the battery.

ź

First connect the (-) pole, then the (+) pole of the
battery, then the charger to the 230V mains supply.

ź

Explosive gases - do not use open flame when
handling.

ź

Provide good ventilation during charging.

ź

Do not smoke, drink or eat while charging battery.

ź

For indoor use only.

ź

Do not open the charger or shorten the cables.

ź

Never short-circuit the terminal clips (do not touch
the clips together).

ź

If the charger body or cable is broken, the product
cannot be used.

ź

Danger of electric shock by current - When using,
pay attention to work safety.

ź

We recommend the use of goggles, gloves and
protective clothing when handling car batteries.

ź

In case of contact with electrolyte, wash
immediately with plenty of water and seek medical
attention if necessary.

ź

Check the functionality of the device before each
use.

ź

Protect the device from moisture.

ź

Keep the device out of reach of children.

ź

Make sure that children do not play with the
appliance.

ź

This appliance is not intended for use by persons

ź

The battery on the water (eg in a boat or on a ship)
must be dismantled and it is essential to charge it
on land!

ź

Car batteries not used for a long time may not work
properly. These cannot be charged.

ź

The battery charger must not be used instead of
the power supply. Never start the vehicle engine or

perform any further maintenance while charging.

ź

We recommend that you remove the battery from
the vehicle, before charging, according to car
documentation.

ź

Depending on its purpose, this device is not
designed for commercial, carshop or industrial use.

Preparing for charging

ź

Make sure the rechargeable battery is actually 12V.

ź

Always disconnect the battery (+) connector first.

ź

Clean the battery contacts, protect your eyes from
dust.

ź

If your battery allows you to refill individual cells,
top them up with distilled water only after the
marking specified by the manufacturer. This
ensures that excess gases are displaced from the
individual cells.

ź

Follow the manufacturer's instructions when
recharging an open-cell battery (for example,
maintenance-free batteries).

Charger placement

ź

Place the charger as far away from the
rechargeable battery as possible (as far as the
wiring allows).

ź

Never place the charger directly on the battery
(fumes will cause corrosion during charging and
could seriously damage the charger).

ź

The battery electrolyte must never come into
contact with, or splash, the charger.
