Compaq Insight Manager Console
System monitoring applications such as Compaq Insight Manager allow the
administrator to accomplish normal administrative tasks from any remote
location with a Web browser. To manage the TaskSmart N2400 appliance
using the Compaq Insight Manager console:
1.
Access the Discover IP devices from the Setup menu.
2.
Click New.
3.
Enter the IP address range of the device.
4.
Click Add.
5.
Click Close when finished.
6.
Click Find Devices.
7.
Select the device that you want to view.
8.
Click Add/Update All Devices.
9.
Double-click the server to show a device information window. The
window allows the user to view management data collected by the
Compaq agents.
Figure 5-2 is an example of the device information window.
