4. Touch a mode of transport: car
, public transport , or by
foot .
5. Touch Go . The directions to your
destination are shown as a list.
Note: To view directions on the
map, touch Shown on map .
When you have reached your
destination, touch Menu
> More
> Clear map to reset the map.
Set Map Mode and Layers
Touch: > Maps > Menu >
You can view the map in the following
modes:
• Traffic : Touch to view real-time
traffic conditions with roads
marked in color-coded lines to
indicate traffic conditions.
Note: May not be available in all
areas.
• Satellite : Touch to view map on
aerial photo from Google Earth™.
The images are not real-time and
are approximately one to three
years old.
• Terrain : Touch to view the map
with 3D imagery and terrain from
Google Earth.
You can add layers to view additional
information on the map.
• Buzz : Touch to view map with
comments posted by users about
a location.
• Latitude : Touch to see your
friends’ location and share yours
with them. You must sign in with
your Google account to use this
feature. See “Latitude” on
page 60.
