1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Click Accessories.
4. Click Run to open the Run window.
5. Type cmd and click OK to open a command prompt window.
6. Type ipconfig and press Enter to display the IP configuration.
Configuring TCP / IP in Windows 8
1. Press the Windows key on the keyboard to go to desktop mode.
2. Move the mouse cursor to the bottom right corner of the screen. Displays the right panel. Click
the settings icon. This opens the settings pane.
3. In the Settings pane, click Control Panel.
4. Open the Control Panel.
5. Click Network and Internet to display the Network and Internet.
6. Click Network and Sharing Center to display the Network and Sharing Center.
7. Click Change adapter settings.
8. Right­click the mouse on the network connectivity of the network interface you want to change.
9. Click the Properties button to display the Properties window to connect to the local network.
10. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4) and double click it or click
Properties button.
